Breast Pumping Must-Haves

You might be a first time mom, you might be an eighth time mom... either way, there are tools that make breastfeeding and pumping so much easier!

Some moms enjoy breastfeeding... some do not. Some enjoy pumping... wait. Do any moms enjoy pumping?!?

I found that there are many products that helped me so much with my breastfeeding journey with my 3 kiddos. I EXCLUSIVELY PUMPED with my first and wow, I may never do that again. Pumping is time-consuming, lonely, frustrating, and if you have DMER you may struggle even more.

I hope that some of these products will help you gain some confidence in pumping, or just make it more bearable if it's your goal to keep pumping/feeding!

My favorite find ever!!

Pumping bras are so expensive and who wants to change into a pumping bra every single time? But what breastfeeding mom doesn't have a million nursing bras? (Just me?) This accessory clips onto any nursing bra, transforming it into a pumping bra! You can get it here!

I didn't jump on this product right away, but especially while I exclusively pumped, this was a game-changer! If you are trying to get as much output as possible or avoid clogs,

these massagers are amazing! This one is my favorite, but here is a cheaper option as well.

These are something you'll really want to keep on hand. I found the disposable ones to be a little annoying, and it's so easy to just throw these in the wash! They are soft and

comforatle and stay put. I like to keep them in my pumping cart so it's easy to get new ones or set the old ones aside for washing, while I'm in and out of pumping/nursing sessions!

Comes in multiple color options!

Colostrum Collectors:

You can start collecting colostrum around 37 weeks pregnant with your provider's approval. These make it easy to collect and freeze so you can bring with you to the hospital or use in those first few days.

Extra Pump Parts on Hand

Pump parts need to be changed regularly, depending on how much you pump. I like to always have the extra parts on hand, especially the valves. These duck-bill valves with a pull tab are also amazing so you aren't ruining your valves faster by pulling on them.

These parts are specifically compatible with Spectra and other pumps that use the same/similar parts. Make sure these are the correct parts for you pump. There are many pumps compatible with Spectra's parts. I used a Motif Luna, for example.
